The ROKiT F4 British Championship certified by FIA is pleased to welcome world-class sports and travel gear manufacturers OGIO as the series’ official Luggage Partner.
Formed in 1987, OGIO is a perfect fit for the competitive world of ROKiT British F4 where adaptability, longevity and precision are key factors in Britain’s FIA Formula 4 series. A leading innovator of sports luggage and backpacks, OGIO’s collections fuse performance, sports, and lifestyle, with a focus on organisation, durability, protection, ergonomics, mobility, and sustainability, further endorsed as official luggage partner of the Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One team.
They are proudly known as an industry-leading manufacturer of some of the highest-quality performance bags in the world and every driver on the 2022 ROKiT British F4 grid will receive a championship-branded OGIO Backpack at Oulton Park this weekend [10-12 June].
As part of the partnership OGIO will be providing teams and drivers support via their motorsport distribution partner FENZ.
Michael Birch, Sales & Marketing Manager, EMA at OGIO said: “OGIO is delighted to be named as the official Luggage Partner to ROKiT British F4.
“As a proving ground for the motorsport stars of tomorrow, high-performance, versatility and innovation are crucial to succeed. The OGIO mission is to help all athletes carry their equipment through great design, innovation and technology and motorsport and British F4 provides that platform.
“We look forward to supporting the championship and its drivers moving forward.”
Hugh Chambers, Chief Executive Officer of Motorsport UK said: “It’s great to welcome OGIO on board as the official Luggage Partner to the ROKiT F4 British Championship certified by FIA.
“The quality of their product range speaks for itself and will be an invaluable companion trackside for each driver on the 2022 grid.”
Established in 2015, the ROKiT F4 British Championship certified by FIA is the globally recognised entry point to the FIA’s Single-Seater Pathway, offering drivers aged 15 years and above the opportunity to take their first steps on the road to Formula 1.
Utilising the latest in safety and performance technology, the series features identical Tatuus T-421 chassis, powered by Abarth engines and with controlled tyres from Pirelli to form a race-proven, reliable, and instructive package for drivers at a crucial stage in their development.
The championship has an unrivalled promotional platform to aid drivers in building their audience; as part of the high-profile British Touring Car Championship package, ROKiT British F4 receives live, free-to-air television coverage on ITV4, as well as capacity trackside crowds, at each of the ten events on the UK’s premier circuits.
Having previously launched the careers of legends including Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, Damon Hill, Eddie Irvine, Jenson Button, David Coulthard and – more recently – McLaren F1 star Lando Norris in various guises, the category remains the ‘go-to’ destination for drivers aspiring to achieve a career at the sport’s highest level.
Hitech GP’s Alex Dunne currently leads the standings by 39 points ahead of McLaren junior Ugo Ugochukwu having won five of the opening nine races of the season, with Williams protégé and Ugochukwu’s Carlin team-mate Oliver Gray third.
