JHR Developments is delighted to finalise its line-up in the F4 British Championship for 2024, as talented teenager Ella Lloyd joins the team.
The 18-year-old from Pontypridd made her car racing debut in the Ginetta Junior Championship in 2022, recording point-scoring finishes in 60% of the season’s races. Last season she moved up to GT5, taking ten victories and adding another eight podiums en route to second place in the Pro class.
Ella is not just a promising racing driver however, as she is a decorated show jumper, winning the 148 Bronze League area 35 Wales with her horse Elvira in 2019, while in the same calendar year she took a gold medal at the Welsh Skiing Championship in Champery, Switzerland.
This year the teenager will face a new challenge in British F4, moving to single seaters with downforce, but has been racking up the pre-season test miles as she prepares for the opening rounds of the season, which take place at Donington Park in April.

“I’m very happy to be joining JHR Developments this season. I started testing with the team in the middle of last year and that has been going well. They’re a good team, so I’m looking forward to making my British F4 debut.
“The car is very different to what I’ve raced before as it has aerodynamics, and managing the tyres is more crucial in this series. We’ve got more testing lined up and we’ll keep learning before the season starts so we’re in a good place at round one.”
