Hailing from Piteå in northern Sweden, 17-year-old Joel has made a name for himself as one of the country’s most promising young drivers. Over the past seven years, he has raced extensively across Europe, achieving strong results in the highly competitive OK class of the WSK series.
Joel’s breakthrough came in 2021 when he claimed the Swedish OKJ title and clinched victory in the Junior category during the debut season of the electric-powered Rotax E20. These accomplishments secured him a spot in the prestigious Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals, where he was crowned Rotax Project E20 Junior Champion. He also proudly represented Sweden at the FIA Motorsport Games that same year.
Last season he joined JHR Developments in British F4, taking part in four race meetings and recording an impressive three Rookie Cup victories and six podiums in total.
