Warrington-based racer Daniella Sutton will join Chris Dittmann Racing team for a full campaign in Wera Tools British F4 in 2026.
Daniella started karting at the age of six, but first competitively raced in 2021 when she was twice rookie winner in the Daniel Ricciardo UK Kart Championship, before being crowned Total Karting Zero UK North Champion in 2022. In early 2024, she won the inaugural BRSCC Fiesta Junior scholarship, where she has successfully raced for the past two seasons. She is currently champion-elect in the Anita Taylor Saloons Championship.
The 17-year-old is also active away from the racetrack. She is an Official Ambassador for the Juvenile Arthritis Research charity, as well as an Ambassador for We Racing, a grass roots racing organisation embracing diversity, fostering talent and driving excellence. Additionally, Daniella is a member of the British Women Racing Drivers Club, and one of a select group of drivers to be part of the British Racing Drivers’ Club’s (BRDC) Rising Stars programme.
Following a successful test at Snetterton recently, Daniella will step up to British F4 with multiple race-winning team Chris Dittmann Racing. The Gloucestershire-based outfit had a stellar end to their 2025 campaign, securing three race victories, five further podiums and a string of fastest laps.
Daniella will officially unveil her 2026 challenger today at the CorpAcq Stadium in Manchester, home to the Sale Sharks rugby union team.
Daniella Sutton: “I did a couple of days of testing with the team and I felt really comfortable with them. It’s important that you feel at home and I loved the vibe within Chris Dittmann Racing. They proved they can really mix it with the best after their success last season, so I’m happy I’m in the right place for my first year of single seaters. We’ve got some more testing lined up before the start of the season and I’m really excited to see where the journey takes us.”
Chris Dittmann, Team Principal: “It’s great to be able to announce Daniella so early and to be one of the first confirmed drivers of the 2026 season. It gives both parties plenty of time to prepare for 2026. It’s not too far for Daniella to travel to our team base, so she’ll be a regular visitor and able to get a lot of time in on the sim.
“She did really well when she tested with us at Snetterton earlier this month and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do together. We’re aiming to hit the ground running.”
