JHR Developments is very happy to announce that 14-year-old Anglo-Algerian youngster Leo Sami Robinson will be joining the team in the F4 British Championship for 2024.
Leo has won a multitude of national and international karting titles starting with the MSA Bambino Championship when he was just seven years of age, and in 2019 he finished third in the IAME Euroseries and the World Final in Le Mans.
In 2020, on his 11th birthday, Leo became the youngest winner in a 125cc senior kart and won the Mini X30 title at the I-Games in Portimão, while the following season the youngster dominated the Mini X30 class in the UK, winning the British Championship, Kartmasters and the LGM Championship.
Later that year Leo also won the MENA Championship in Oman, representing his maternal nation Algeria, while his karting success was completed in 2022 when he won the Italian Championship in the OKJ class.
In 2023 he moved into car racing, becoming the youngest ever race winner in Ginetta Junior. Mid-season, he switched to the Danish F4 Championship with STEP scoring 10 podiums in 10 starts and ended up the best points scorer over the second half of the season, finishing fourth in the championship despite only contesting half of the rounds.
Leo will continue his preparations ahead of his F4 British Championship debut in April, ramping up test mileage with the series 2021 Drivers’, Teams’, and Rookie champions JHR Developments.

“I am delighted to be able to move into British F4 at the earliest possible opportunity with JHR Developments. The team is highly motivated and has a great track record of developing young drivers in both F4 and GB3, including winning all three titles in 2021. I am proud to race under the Algerian flag and would like to thank the FASM (Federation Algerienne des Sports Mecaniques) for their continued support.”
