The British Automobile Racing Club (BARC) has been selected as the organising club for the ROKiT F4 British Championship certified by FIA from 2022 onwards, Motorsport UK is pleased to confirm.
Formed in 1912 and today one of the largest motorsport organisations in the UK, the BARC organises more than 35 championships and upwards of 60 race meetings each year, with over 100 years of heritage underpinning its activities from its base at Thruxton Circuit, one of three circuits the club operates.
BARC will now act as the lead club local organiser for the championship and its related events, including collaborating with Motorsport UK on elements of the series’ organisation.
The Club currently fulfils a similar role for the rest of the high-profile British Touring Car Championship package on which ROKiT British F4 sits, making it an ideal partnership founded on years of relevant experience and expertise.
Another ten-event, thirty-race season at the UK’s premier circuits will commence at Donington Park, Leicestershire on 22-24 April 2022.
