Archie Owen will contest his first full season in the Wera Tools F4 British Championship with Hitech in 2027, building on his debut with the team and an encouraging start to his single-seater career.
15-year-old Archie, who hails from Wales, has already finished on the podium in each of his opening four races in the Aramco F4 Saudi Arabian Championship. Those results include two victories and place him second in the championship standings. Most recently, Archie contested the final round of the F4 Central European Zone (F4 CEZ) Championship with Hitech at the Hungaroring, securing fourth place in the final race.
Archie’s first appearance in cars came with Hitech at Silverstone’s National circuit on 26-27 September, where he contested three British F4 races and gained seven places in the final race to finish 14th. He will now return to the championship for a full campaign in 2027.
Earlier in 2026, Archie competed in senior karting, contesting the British Kart Championships and Kartmasters British Grand Prix in X30 Senior with Premium Karting, alongside a WSK Super Master Series programme in OK with KR Motorsport.
Archie Owen:
“I’m really excited to be racing with Hitech for my first full season in British F4. Silverstone gave me a good introduction to the championship, and getting my first wins in Saudi Arabia has given
me a lot of confidence.
“It’s been a busy few weeks and I’m really enjoying the move into cars. Finishing fourth at the Hungaroring was another positive step. I know how competitive British F4 is, so I’m looking
forward to putting in the work with the team and making sure I’m ready for the start of the season.”
Dominic Stott, Hitech British F4 Team Manager:
“We’re pleased to confirm Archie for our 2027 British F4 line-up. He showed encouraging progress on his debut with us at Silverstone, and it has been positive to see him build on that
through his racing in Saudi Arabia and at the Hungaroring.
“To have already taken two wins in Saudi F4 and finished fourth at the F4 CEZ season finale, gives him a positive foundation to build on. A full season together gives us the opportunity to develop that further, and we’re looking forward to helping Archie continue his progress in 2027.”
