Amin Kara Osman joins Hitech for 2027 British F4 season

With the 2026 season not long coming to its conclusion, the Wera Tools F4 British Championship is looking ahead to the 2027 season. First to announce a driver for next season –  2026 Team Champions…Hitech.

The Silverstone-based team is pleased to announce 15-year-old German driver Amin Kara Osman as the first confirmed driver for its 2027 F4 British Championship line-up.

Born in Hamburg and based in Düsseldorf, Amin began karting in 2021, progressing through the national ranks before establishing himself in international competition.

In 2023, he claimed victories in Mini and Junior karting, including a win in the German Junior Kart Championship at Franciacorta. He continued his development in 2024, finishing fifth in the German Junior Kart Championship standings despite contesting just four of six rounds.

Amin moved up early to the senior OK category in 2025, finishing fifth overall in the WSK Euro Series, before turning his focus to single-seaters in 2026.

Selected for the Motorsport Team Germany junior squad, supported by the ADAC Stiftung Sport, Amin also joined the karting programme of Haupt Racing Team. An extensive Formula 4 testing programme with Hitech prepared him for his single-seater debut in the Saudi Arabian F4 Championship, where he delivered competitive and consistent performances.

Hitech enters 2027 as the reigning F4 British Championship Teams’ Champion, having secured the title for the second time in 2026. The team also won the Drivers’ Championship in 2022 and 2024, establishing a strong pedigree in developing young talent.

Amin is the first of four drivers confirmed for Hitech’s 2027 line-up as the team looks to build on its championship-winning campaign.

Amin Kara Osman:

“I’m excited to race with Hitech in British F4. Successful testing and a solid start in Saudi Arabia have given me confidence for the next step. I’m looking forward to building on that progress with the team and pushing for strong results.”

Dominic Stott, Hitech British F4 Team Manager:

“We’re delighted to welcome Amin to our 2027 British F4 line-up. He has built a strong foundation through karting at both national and international level, and his early experience in Formula 4 has shown encouraging potential.

“We’ve worked with Amin throughout his testing programme and have been impressed with his approach and willingness to learn. British F4 is an important next step in his development, and we’re looking forward to supporting him as he takes on this new challenge.

“We’re proud of our record in British F4 and look forward to welcoming Amin into the team as we aim to build on that success next season.”
