JHR Developments make their first driver announcement for 2025, as Rowan Campbell-Pilling joins for his second season in Wera Tools British F4.
The 18-year-old from Sheffield is no stranger to the team, having tested with them initially prior to his series debut.
In an impressive 2024 campaign, Rowan secured two overall podiums, six Rookie Cup wins, and 21 podiums in total with former team Phinsys by Argenti, finishing 10th in the Drivers’ standings and third in the Rookies Cup.
Rowan is also part of the Motorsport UK Academy Team UK Futures, which identifies, develops, and supports talented competitors aged 15-24. The programme offers exclusive industry insight, specialist workshops, educational sessions, and bespoke events aimed at developing and improving all-round driving ability.
Recently, Rowan unveiled his 2025 livery at Showcase Sheffield B2B Exhibition, as part of the Made in Sheffield presentation at the Town Hall, organised by the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce.
Rowan Campbell-Pilling: “It’s great to be back with JHR Developments. We’ve had a few test days already, and we’ve shown some good speed, putting us in a strong position. I’ve worked hard over the winter to ensure we are in the best possible shape for this year. We’ll take things as they come, but I believe we have a strong package, as the team is highly competitive and had some brilliant results last year. I think it will be a great combination, and hopefully a winning one. I would also like to extend a massive thank you to all my partners who have helped me get on the grid this season. I can’t wait to get started.”
Steven Hunter, JHR Team Principal: “We are really pleased to have Rowan joining us for the 2025 British F4 season. He showed a lot of promise last year and has continued to work hard over the winter to develop his skills further. His performances in testing have been strong, and we are confident that he will be able to fight at the sharp end of the grid this season. We’re looking forward to working with him and seeing what we can achieve together.”
