ROKIT BRITISH F4 SET TO MAKE SECOND VISIT TO DONINGTON PARK FOR 2024 SEASON

The ROKiT British F4 Championship Certified by the FIA will make its return to Donington Park, for the second time in the 2024 season. The 2.4-mile-long GP circuit will see the championship return to English tracks for the eighth event of the calendar following events at Zandvoort in the Netherlands and Knockhill, Scotland.

The GP layout and high-speed nature of Donington has proven a popular track for drivers and spectators alike, with plenty of overtaking opportunities throughout the circuit’s 2.49 mile length and 12 corners.

This weekend will see a fourth race held, with the re-running of Round 3 from our visit to Donington Park earlier in the year taking place.

Hitech Pulse-Eight’s Deagen Fairclough continued his dominant form at Knockhill taking his eighth and ninth wins of the season. This extended his championship lead to 101 points over Rodin Motorsport’s Alex Ninovic, his largest lead over his closest rival of the season.

The JHR Developments pairing of Leo Robinson and Ella Lloyd delivered the team another 1-2 finish last time out, while Rookies Martin Molnar (Virtuosi Racing) and Rowan Campbell-Pilling (Phinsys by Argenti) also showed great pace at the front of the field. All four drivers will be looking to add to their respective podium tallies at Donington.

Fairclough and Ninovic sit firmly at the top of the Drivers’ Championship with the battle for third a close contest between Reza Seewooruthun (Hitech Pulse-Eight) and Jack Sherwood (Rodin Motorsport). Rodin Motorsport’s James Higgins and Abbi Pulling make up the top 6 in the standings.

For the first time this season, the Rookie Cup has a new leader in the standings. Virtuosi Racing’s Martin Molnar has now taken the lead by just half a point over Yuanpu Cui (Phinsys by Argenti). Rowan Campbell-Pilling is currently third as they enter the crucial final events of the year.

Hitech Pulse-Eight have extended their lead in the Teams; Cup standings over Rodin Motorsport and JHR Developments in second and third respectively.

Qualifying for the C1RCUIT Watches Pole Position Award at Donington Park starts at 1025 hrs on Saturday morning. Race One of the weekend will be on Saturday afternoon at 1350 hrs with Races Two and Three on Sunday at 1040 and 1550 hrs. The postponed Race Three from Donington Park’s weather impacted schedule will be run later on Saturday afternoon at 1730 hours.
