LOUIS SHARP CREATES HISTORY WITH BACK TO-BACK BRITISH F4/GB3 CHAMPIONSHIP WINS

Just one year after securing the 2023 ROKiT British F4 title, Louis Sharp has created history by completing the double, with back-to-back British F4 and GB3 titles.  Louis is the first driver in the modern era of FIA British F4 to complete this sensational double in consecutive seasons.

The talented Sharp, who relocated to the UK from New Zealand to develop his craft, has proven a prodigious talent and a driver that will be making many people sit up and pay attention, as he has again soaked up the pressure of skilfully managing highly competitive championship campaigns.

Sharp has taken five wins on the way to 2024 GB3 glory, however hasn’t had it all his own way, with the championship, as in 2023 and ROKiT British F4, going all the way to the final race of the season, before being decided.

Sharp is among an exclusive group of GB3 champions who graduated having enjoyed successes in British F4, including Zak O’Sullivan and Luke Browning, however creates history, having won both championships in back-to-back racing seasons.

“I’m really, really happy to get back-to-back titles obviously with British F4 last year and GB3 this year. British F4 prepared me really well for this year and for the coming years. It was my first season racing overseas and my first time in wings and slicks in British F4 and it definitely prepared me really well and I couldn’t have done it without the experience I gained doing the two years in F4.”

Louis’ next challenge of the year will be the 2024 Silverstone Autosport BRDC Young Driver of the Year Award shootout, where he will be reunited with two other ROKiT British F4 drivers, lining up alongside Freddie Slater and 2024 provisional ROKiT British F4 champion, Deagen Fairclough.
