Rising single-seater talent Leon Hedfors has officially confirmed his entry into the 2026 Wera Tools F4 British Championship certified by FIA, marking a major milestone in his racing career and setting the stage for an exciting new chapter in one of the world’s most competitive junior formulas.
Hedfors will step-up to the fiercely competitive British F4 grid in 2026 — a championship known for developing future stars of international motorsport. The series offers a challenging calendar of iconic UK circuits and close, high-level competition. The Swedish driver’s arrival completes Argenti Motorsport’s exciting line-up ahead of the first round at Donington Park in April. Leon has prepared for his first season in single-seaters by competing in the Formula 4 Middle East Trophy and the Formula Winter Series to get himself race-fit ahead of the British season.
Leon Hedfors said:
“I’m excited to be joining Argenti for my first season in British F4. It will be my first full year racing in Formula 4, but I feel confident going into the season with a great team around me. I’m really looking forward to the challenge ahead and aiming for a strong year.”
Michael Meadows, Team Principal, said:
“We’re very happy to have Leon joining the team for 2026. He has been preparing well over the winter and shown a lot of promise. We will give Leon all the support he needs to keep making progress, and we look forward to a strong season with him.”
