Chiara Battig
Chiara steps up to cars with a distinguished karting résumé. Based in Zürich, she claimed her third consecutive Swiss Karting Championship in OK Junior in 2024, dominating the field with eight victories in fifteen outings.
Internationally, the 15-year-old has one strong performance after another to her name: in the CIK-FIA European Championship she took pole position in OK at Campillos in 2025 and featured prominently in the qualifying heats. In August she joined the Red Bull Junior Team after a standout performance at the Red Bull Driver Search event at Estoril, where she drove single-seater machinery for the first time, with her pace and adaptability shining through.
To prepare for her first full season racing cars, Chiara is currently competing in the five-round F4 Saudi Arabian Championship. With British F4 ahead in 2026, she will look to build on this experience – not only to accelerate her development, but also to inspire young female drivers pursuing a similar pathway into the sport.

At what age and in what discipline did you start out in motorsport?
At 8 years old in 2018, I drove my first official national karting races. At 9 years old I had my first national season in the category Mini.
What is your biggest achievement in motorsport so far?
Youngest Swiss OKJ Champion winner ever and only one to win 3 times in a row 2022-2024. X30J Swiss Champion 2024. FIA OK European Pole position in 2025. Red Bull Junior Team member since 2025.
Why have you chosen British F4 for 2026?
I think it is a very competitive championship and I am excited to work with Hitech on some of the hardest tracks in the world.

What are your hobbies and interests outside motorsport?
Wakeboarding, seing my friends, playing tennis
What is an interesting fact people may not know about you?
I have the same birthday as Ayrton Senna, and I do like pineapple on pizzas
