Cardiff-based racer Cameron Nelson will contest his first full season in the Wera Tools British F4 Championship certified by the FIA, joining the title-winning squad JHR Developments as part of their four-car line-up for this season.
At just 15, Cameron will make his single-seater debut at Donington Park, stepping up after an impressive record in karting at both national and international level. A former British Junior Max race winner, he clinched the prestigious BNL Golden Trophy at Circuit Genk by a commanding margin. Adding to his résumé further, Nelson earlier this year took victory in the Senior Rotax RMC Winter Trophy in Texas, USA.
Cameron has already accumulated valuable mileage in the Tatuus T-421 chassis, including productive running with the team at Circuito de Jerez and both wet and dry testing conditions at
Silverstone Circuit. With additional test days scheduled in the lead-up to the opening round, he is on track to arrive well-prepared for his rookie season. He will also gain from the guidance and experience of his manager, former championship-winning driver Duncan Tappy, as he takes his next steps on the single-seater ladder.
