Xavier Avramides was the fourth driver to be announced by Hitech for their 2025 British F4 campaign, as the Australian makes the step up for his first season in cars.
The 16-year-old has steadily progressed through the ranks in karting. After starting out in the Cadet class of the Australian Kart Championship in 2018, he went on to become Queensland state champion in 2022, before advancing through the OK, KZ and KZ2 categories in Europe since 2023, claiming race victories at each level.
Team Manager Dominic Stott revealed that Hitech were impressed with Xavier’s attitude and speed when he tested with them at the end of 2024. He will be the third Rookie driver in their line-up for this season, alongside Fionn McLaughlin and Thomas Bearman.
