Dubai-based British driver Theo Palmer will race for Hitech TGR in his second season of Wera Tools British F4 in 2026.
Theo spent his Rookie season in 2025 with Xcel Motorsport, stepping up from their karting team, and impressed throughout the year.
Despite missing the opening round of the season due to his age, Theo finished 18th in the overall standings and fourth in the Rookie Cup, just one point short of third.
He picked up two Rookie wins and 10 Rookie podiums in total, as well as several top-10 finishes and a highest position of sixth place.
Theo began his motorsport journey at the age of nine at the Dubai Autodrome Karting Academy, rapidly advancing through the junior IAME and Rotax categories. His talent was evident early on as he claimed multiple race wins in regional UAE championships.
The 15-year-old then expanded into Europe, competing in the X30 Senior and Rotax Max Challenge event, with notable successes including a top-eight finish at the 2024 Kartmasters Grand Prix (Junior X30) and consistent performance in European Open competitions. These results demonstrated his ability to compete at a high level against some of the continent’s best young drivers.
Theo adapted quickly to single-seater machinery and showed maturity on the UK circuits this year. His first experience in F4 laid a solid foundation, and he is looking to build on these learnings and target strong championship results in 2026.
Theo Palmer: “I’m really excited to be joining Hitech for this next step in my single-seater career. They’re a really professional team and have either won or been in the fight for the title every year. I can’t wait to learn from them and fight for strong results throughout the season.”
Dominic Stott, Team Manager: “We have kept a close eye on Theo in his British F4 debut season and have been impressed to see the same pace and adaptability that he consistently demonstrated in karting. We are confident he has all the tools to make an immediate impact this season and will continue to develop.”
