2025 Announcement: Ary Bansal joins Fortec Motorsports in Challenge Cup

Fortec Motorsports have added another driver to their Wera Tools British F4 line-up, with Ary Bansal joining to contest the Challenge Cup.

The 15-year-old from Bangalore, India, is already a race winner this season, having claimed victory on his debut in the GB4 Championship. He was also named Fastest Driver of the Weekend at Donington Park, setting the fastest lap in two of the three races, before continuing his strong form at Silverstone with two further podium finishes.

Ary began his karting career in India in 2021, before competing in selected British Kart Championship events throughout 2023 and 2024. He made his single-seater debut in the Spanish F4 Championship towards the end of last year.

He will make his Wera Tools British F4 debut in June at Thruxton – the fastest circuit in the UK – and will return to the grid later in the month for the Oulton Park round in Cheshire, with additional outings planned for the remainder of the season.

Ary will team up with fellow Fortec driver Henry Joslyn, as the team looks to build on a promising start to the campaign, including a double pole position in the season opener and a trio of top nine finishes in the most recent rounds.

Ary Bansal: “I am happy to be joining Fortec Motorsports, which has a great record of developing young drivers. As I have shown already this year, my goal is to be at the front of the grid and fighting for wins as well as the Challenge Cup. I can’t wait to make my debut in British F4.”

Oliver Dutton, Fortec Motorsports Team Principal: “We’re thrilled to welcome Ary to the team. He’s made an immediate impression in GB4 and brings a great deal of potential into British F4. His pace, attitude, and adaptability are exactly what we look for in a young driver. We’re confident he’ll be competitive from the outset, and we look forward to supporting his continued development throughout the season.”
