The F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost can confirm amendments have been made to the 2021 calendar, in line with BTCC organisers TOCA.
Whilst the season opener remains at Thruxton on 08-09 May, the dates for the second and third events – at Snetterton and Brands Hatch (Indy) respectively – have been moved.
Britain’s FIA Formula 4 series will now visit Snetterton’s 300 circuit on 12-13 June, with the meeting at Brands Hatch to take place a fortnight later on 26-27 June.
It is hoped this move will potentially enable spectators to be present trackside at these events, in line with the government’s COVID-19 restrictions at the time.
Regardless, the series will continue to benefit from live, free-to-air ITV coverage at both race weekends.
The rest of the 2021 calendar remains unaffected.
