Fortec Motorsport’s Roberto Faria is pleased with the progress made over the winter after a positive start to his F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost career at Brands Hatch.
The Brazilian scored points in each of the three races around the 1.2-mile Kent circuit, including a strong top-five finish in the middle race, screened live across the UK on ITV4.
In addition that, he also claimed a hat-trick of Rookie Cup podium finishes – twice second and once third – to keep himself in the hunt, just 14 points adrift of current standings leader Zane Maloney as the series heads next to Donington Park on 27th-28th April.
“I’m really happy with how my first weekend in the championship went,” commented Faria.
“To score points in all three races – including a top five – shows our hard work over the winter is paying off.
“I’m also still right at the front of the Rookie Cup battle, so all things considered it went well.
“Thanks to the whole team at Fortec Motorsport for their help, support and effort, as always.”
