BRANDS HATCH 30 SEPTEMBER-2 OCTOBER, 2016 — After 27 thrilling races across the length and breadth of Britain, the F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford returns to where its remarkable 2016 season began to decide who will win the most coveted championship in British single-seater racing. Six drivers from four teams have a mathematical chance of being crowned champion, as a variety of permutations lay in wake for Sennan Fielding and his pursuers.
The leading trio of Fielding (JHR Developments), Max Fewtrell (Carlin) and Luis Leeds (TRS Arden) are separated by just 19 points and are the most likely candidates to emerge triumphant, with 30 points the gap between third place man Leeds and DeFrancesco in fourth. James Pull and Fortec Motorsports’ Alex Quinn also have a shot at the title heading into the weekend.
It’s not just the drivers title that will be decided, there is still all to play for in the Teams Cup with Carlin and TRS Arden set to battle it out for top honours.
