British F4 confirms attractive prize offering for 2019

26 Nov 18
  • Most competitive FIA-sanctioned Formula 4 series worldwide returns with a vast array of valuable rewards.
  • Offering reflects Ford’s continued commitment to supporting the next generation of drivers and engineers, providing them with a chance to reach the pinnacle of motorsport.
  • Rookie Cup continues, with free entry to the 2020 F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost for the winner.

The F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost has confirmed an attractive prize offering ahead of the 2019 campaign, underlining Ford’s commitment to providing the next generation of motorsport talent with a platform to succeed.

The Ford EcoBoost-powered series has garnered a reputation for being one of the hardest FIA-sanctioned Formula 4 championships to win, with the rewards for success reflecting that.

These prizes reflect Ford’s continued commitment to supporting the next generation of drivers and engineers in reaching the pinnacle of motorsport, a commitment further underlined by keeping entry and registration costs fixed since the championship’s inception as MSA Formula in 2015.

Once again in 2019, the FIA British Formula 4 Champion will receive a fully-funded test with a leading F3 team in Europe courtesy of series tyre suppliers Hankook, as well as an invite to the FIA Prize Giving Ceremony, MSA Night of Champions and BRSCC Awards.

They will also benefit from receiving 12 valuable FIA Super License Points to assist their progression up the motorsport ladder, which continue to be awarded on a sliding scale to seventh overall.

The Rookie Cup offers opportunities for development to those with no previous car racing experience, with the winner awarded free entry to the 2020 F4 British Championship.

Ford will continue to offer £10,000 to the first driver to win all three races in a single weekend, and £5,000 to the first Rookie Cup entrant to win a race overall.

The ‘Most Improved’ Driver at each meeting – decided by the number of places gained in Races 1 & 3 at each event from their respective starting positions – will win a free set of Hankook tyres for testing and a €1,000 credit for spare parts courtesy of Mygale is on offer for the team that secures pole position at each round.

It’s not all about the on-circuit action, however. Snap-On Tools will provide a £300 voucher to the championship’s top technician at each round, and the top technician at the end of the year will receive a uniquely customised Snap-On Business Solutions Toolbox worth over £5,000.

Another ten-event, thirty-race season promising plenty of drama, intrigue and wheel-to-wheel action will get underway at the 1.2-mile Brands Hatch circuit in Kent on 6th-7th April, 2019.

Brands Hatch to host 2019 British F4 Media Day

19 Nov 18
  • Latest crop of single-seater rising stars in Britain’s FIA-sanctioned Formula 4 series set to meet the media at Brands Hatch on Wednesday, 13th March 2019.
  • Trip to 1.2-mile Kent circuit – host of the season curtain-raiser in April – offers an early opportunity for filming/photography of, and interviews with, the ‘Class of 2019’.
  • Championship set to enjoyed continued star status as the sole single-seater support category to the BTCC, the UK’s premier motorsport package on ITV4.

The F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost will host its 2019 Media Day at Brands Hatch on Wednesday 13th March.

Britain’s FIA-sanctioned Formula 4 series will bring the latest crop of single-seater talent to the famous 1.2-mile circuit in Kent – ‘The Garden of England’ – which also plays host to the season curtain-raiser on 6th-7th April.

This will allow for filming/photography of, and interviews with, all the ‘stars and cars’ of the Class of 2019 before another ten-event, thirty-race calendar promising drama and wheel-to-wheel action aplenty gets underway.

In 2019, the F4 British Championship will once again star alongside the British Touring Car Championship as the sole single-seater series on the UK’s premier motorsport package; meaning huge trackside crowds and regular, free-to-air television coverage on ITV4.

Media wishing to attend the F4 British Championship Media Day should contact Marketing and Communications Manager, Damian Meaden, via email at d.meaden@nullracingline.com.

Season Review: Jewiss triumphant as Ford’s winning formula continues to excel

16 Nov 18

The 2018 F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost yet again underlined the strength of Ford’s winning formula with another action-packed campaign courtesy of the latest crop of rising stars.

Thirty races played out across ten events on the high-profile British Touring Car Championship support package to a capacity trackside audience and millions more through ITV’s live, free-to-air television coverage, with the ‘Green Arrow’ – Kiern Jewiss – seizing the opportunity to claim the title of FIA British Formula 4 Champion.

The triumph – also Double R Racing’s first in the category – was boosted by five race victories for Jewiss in as many meetings before the summer break, and a consistent, mature approach to maintain his advantage thereafter as he amassed 445 points – a record for a single season.

It also leaves the BRDC Rising Star with 12 vital FIA Super License Points – more than the equivalent success in any domestic F3 series – as he looks to follow in the footsteps of Lando Norris and use British F4 as the start of a journey to Formula 1.

Though chief title rival Ayrton Simmons would strike first blood with a brace of wins at the Brands Hatch curtain-raiser, Jewiss’ first victory in Britain’s FIA-sanctioned F4 series – a superlative drive through the field – followed soon after at Donington Park and ignited a fierce, season-long battle between the pair and another returnee, Fortec’s Johnathan Hoggard.

Two wins at Thruxton and further visits to the top step of the rostrum at Oulton Park and Croft paved the way for Jewiss’ success, but a late-season charge from Hoggard – in which he won 6 of the final 12 races – rewarded him with third overall behind Simmons and Jewiss.

Hoggard’s speed was also underlined with five pole positions – the most for any driver – but ultimately a mid-season run of 13 races without silverware proved crucial in the battle for the honours.

Sixth position in the opening race at the Brands Hatch GP finale proved enough for Jewiss, who would record a sixth win of the season later that weekend to round out a fantastic campaign in style.

All in all, eight drivers enjoyed a trip to the Winner’s Circle across the campaign, including Dennis Hauger and Jack Doohan, two Arden-run Red Bull Junior Team racers who provided a thrilling scrap for the coveted Rookie Cup title.

Just a single point split the pair in the overall standings at the end of the season, and a mere 15 divided them in the Rookie class, sharing 20 of the 30 victories between themselves.

They largely dominated the top step of the rostrum in the middle of the campaign, with Doohan’s breakthrough success in the finale at Thruxton setting the trend before victories for Hauger at Oulton Park and Croft, then both shared the spotlight at Snetterton.

Several podium finishes eventually gave way to victories for “Flying Finns” Patrik Pasma and Paavo Tonteri, whilst Sebastian Priaulx bookended a positive start to life in single-seaters with a win apiece on each Brands Hatch circuit layout, and claimed six podium finishes besides.

JHR Developments’ Manuel Sulaimán was an ever-present in the top ten across the campaign but couldn’t build on his breakthrough podium in 2017, whilst new team mate Josh Skelton laid the foundations for future success, including a Rookie Cup triumph at Rockingham, and rounded out the top ten in the points.

A mere 25 points – equivalent to a single race win – split the drivers occupying 11th to 14th overall, with Hampus Ericsson eventually emerging ahead of promising rookie Sebastian Alvarez, the ever-improving Jamie Sharp and Lucca Allen.

2019 already promises to be an equally-successful 52nd year at the forefront of junior single seater racing for Ford, with returning entries Carlin and Richardson Racing set to return alongside the usual suspects to produce another captivating season of wheel-to-wheel action.

Luke Browning impressed after first runs in British F4 car

12 Nov 18
  • Multiple Ginetta Junior race-winner left impressed after first runs in Ford EcoBoost-powered British F4 machinery.
  • Richardson Racing gets pre-season programme underway in mixed conditions with the 16-year old at Donington Park.
  • More announcements set to follow as grid for another action-packed, thirty-race calendar starts to form.

Luke Browning was left impressed after his maiden run in an F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost car with Richardson Racing last week.

The 16-year old kicked off preparations for his maiden campaign in Britain’s FIA-sanctioned F4 series at Donington Park, getting a flavour for his new 1.6 litre, Ford EcoBoost-powered machine in both wet and dry conditions over the course of the day.

Browning, who took eight victories and a further ten podium finishes en route to third overall in the Ginetta Junior Championship – again with Richardson – this past season, also believes the team have made a head start on their pre-season testing programme.

“It’s been brilliant and was totally different to anything I’ve driven before,” explained Browning.

“The team has done a great job to help me acclimatise to the car and I can’t thank them enough for that.

“The first half of the day in the dry, I was able to get into the groove and then I think we showed some good pace in the afternoon when it was wet.

“I’ve certainly ticked something off my bucket list today and I think we achieved more than we were aiming to for my first day in the car. The focus was to simply get some track time but we were able to go beyond that, and it’s a really positive start to pre-season for us.”

Fellow Ginetta race-winner Fin Green is the other driver currently confirmed for 2019 in the first returning Carlin entry, as both look to emulate three of the four existing British F4 Champions – Lando Norris, Jamie Caroline and Kiern Jewiss – in stepping across into Ford’s winning formula and kickstarting their single-seater careers.

Several more announcements are set to take place in the coming weeks as the grid for another ten-event, thirty-race season promising plenty of thrills and wheel-to-wheel action starts to form.

The 2019 campaign will get things underway at Brands Hatch’s Indy circuit over the weekend of 6th-7th April.

Richardson Racing confirms British F4 return

29 Oct 18

29 October 2018 – The Richardson Racing team has become the second in a matter of weeks to confirm that it will return to the F4 British Championship Certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost for the 2019 season.

On the back of a successful 2018, the Corby-based team will return to British F4 looking to challenge towards the sharp end of the grid, with Ginetta Junior Championship title contender Luke Browning leading its challenge on track.

The 16-year-old from Cheshire finished third in the Ginetta standings this season with an impressive record of eight wins and a total of 18 podium finishes and becomes the latest graduate of the series to choose British F4 for the next phase of his career.

Browning has already started preparations for the new season with time in Richardson Racing’s simulator ahead of the start of on-track testing.

“The opportunity to make the step up to British F4 is an amazing one for me and I have to say massive thanks to Richardson Racing and also to Proceed Group as it wouldn’t be possible without their ongoing support and the faith they have shown in me,” he said.

“The fact that I’m able to remain with the team has been a key factor in this deal because we have developed a really good working relationship over the past two seasons. They have helped to mould me into the driver I am and we know how each other works, so there is no-one else I would want to graduate with.

“Running in a single-seater with slicks and wings is going to be totally different to anything I’ve done before, but the team has good experience of running the car and we have a good testing programme in place to help me get up to speed.

“It’s difficult to set myself any targets before testing has even started, but you only have to look at what people like Lando Norris, Jamie Caroline and Kiern Jewiss have achieved in F4 to see that the Ginetta Junior Championship is the ideal stepping stone.

“With that in mind, I feel confident that we can do a good job next year and I’d like to think that we can quickly be in a position to challenge for podium finishes.”

Team principal Gwyn Richardson expressed confidence that the 2019 season would give the team the opportunity to make an impression on its return to the series.

“Over the past two seasons we have seen Luke develop from a raw youngster into a very talented racer, as he showed with his performances on track over the course of 2018,” he said.

“With his time in Ginetta Juniors at an end, we were keen to maintain our relationship with Luke as we know there is still more to come from him, and are delighted to confirm that he will now spearhead our return to British F4 after a year away.

“If you look at the record of some of the drivers who have graduated from Ginetta Juniors into British F4 in the past, it goes without saying that we are extremely excited about what the 2019 season holds for Luke.

“We are confident that he will build on the success he enjoyed on track this year and will continue to make a real impression as he takes his career to the next level.”

Richardson Racing competed in British F4 from 2015 to 2017 before taking a sabbatical this year to focus on an expansion of its junior racing programme.

The team secured a place in history during the inaugural year of British F4 when it helped Louise Richardson to a podium finish at Croft – the only female driver thus far to have achieved the feat.

Richardson Racing follows Carlin in announcing a return to the series for 2019.

TEAM NEWS: Fin Green graduates to British F4 with Carlin

18 Oct 18

Provided by Team PR

18 October 2018 – Carlin is pleased to confirm that British racing driver Fin Green will join its newly-announced 2019 F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost team.

16-year-old Green becomes the first driver to be announced for the team and will line up on the grid for the first round of the 2019 season at Brands Hatch in April.

Ginetta race winner Green has already established himself as one to watch in the UK racing scene; taking his maiden win in June at Croft from fourth on the grid. Bristol-based Green has been accumulating solid results, gathering points throughout the season and has three podiums to his name which has led to a top ten championship position in the Ginetta Junior Championship.

Having already raced on the TOCA package during the 2018 season, Green will now make the step up to the British F4 paddock for the 2019 season which will see him return to tracks he is already familiar with thanks to his Ginetta Junior experience.

Green said of the upcoming season, “I am really excited to be racing for Carlin next season in the British F4 Championship. Carlin have already proven themselves in the championship so it’s a fantastic opportunity for me to be part of their 2019 comeback. They’ve won F4 Championships in the past so everything is in place for me to have a super exciting first season in F4 – I can’t wait to be out in the car and racing!”

Racing director Trevor Carlin added, “We’re delighted to be back in the F4 British Championship and helping young, talented drivers in their first seasons in single seaters. Fin represents this perfectly and has already shown a great deal of potential in testing. The team are already working hard in preparation for next season and no doubt it will be a very busy winter for Fin and the rest of the team.”

The 2019 championship will once again race at a variety of British circuits including Silverstone, Brands Hatch, Donington Park and Thruxton.

Carlin to make British F4 return in 2019

05 Oct 18

5 October 2018 – The Carlin team will look to challenge for a fourth title in the F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost after confirming that it will return to the series in 2019.

Carlin was one of the first teams to enter British F4 when it joined the UK motorsport scene as the replacement for Formula Ford back in 2015, initially under the MSA Formula name, and secured the inaugural championship title with Lando Norris.

The team successfully defended the title twelve months later with Max Fewtrell and then made it three championship titles out of three in 2017 with Jamie Caroline before electing to take a year-long sabbatical from the series as it embarked on a new programme in the IndyCar Series.

Carlin now returns to British F4 looking to add to an enviable record of success on track.

Norris, Fewtrell and Caroline are amongst eight Carlin drivers to have taken to the top step of the podium in the series, giving the team an enviable record of 37 race victories from 90 starts. Carlin is also one shy of 100 podium finishes in the series, whilst its drivers have led 582 laps – more than 40 per cent of the total run across the three seasons in which it competed.

On the back of his British F4 title success, Norris has gone on to enjoy title success in both Formula Renault and Formula 3, and will become the first graduate from the series to compete in Formula 1 when he makes his race debut with McLaren next season.

Fewtrell and Caroline meanwhile are on the four-driver short-list – alongside new British F4 champion Kiern Jewiss – for the 2018 McLaren Autosport BRDC Young Driver Award.

News on Carlin’s driver line-up for 2019 will be announced in due course, with the team making its return to competition when the new season kicks off in early April at Brands Hatch.

As has been the case since the British F4 was launched, the championship will once again be decided across ten, three-race meetings at top circuits around the country including Donington Park, Silverstone and Knockhill.

“We are thrilled to be heading back to the British F4 paddock for the 2019 season,” Racing Director Trevor Carlin said. “The Championship holds many happy memories for us. We won the inaugural season with Lando Norris who three years’ later is on his way to Formula 1, so we know that the championship is the perfect platform for young and talented drivers looking to launch their career in the best possible way.

“We loved being in the paddock as part of the TOCA package and the racing was always exciting to watch, so we look forward to being part of this again and hope to be able to announce drivers shortly.”

British F4 Champions headline McLaren Autosport BRDC Award shortlist

03 Oct 18

3 October 2018 – The past three winners of the F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost title have been named on the four driver shortlist for the prestigious McLaren Autosport BRDC Award.

Just days after securing the 2018 title at Brands Hatch, Double R Racing’s Kiern Jewiss was named as one of the finalists for his impressive performances on track this year, which featured six wins and a record-breaking number of podium finishes.

Kiern also broke the record for most points scored in a season en-route to the title in what was his first season of single-seater racing.

He will be joined on the shortlist by the man he replaces as British F4 champion, Jamie Caroline, as well Max Fewtrell – winner of the crown back in 2016.

The trio will go up against Tom Gamble in the final, which will see drivers undergo a series of fitness and simulator sessions before on-track assessments in a range of cars, including a McLaren GT3 machine and Ligier LMP3 car.

“It’s all a bit of a shock,” Jewiss said. “When the nominations came out and my name was on there it gave me a good feeling. Before that it was just a dream.

“I’ve been to the Autosport Awards and this is the one that stood out. I want to be the one up there at the end of the night. It’s crazy to be selected and the whole thing is special.

“Now that I’m a finalist I’m going to do my homework.”

Jamie enjoyed a record-breaking campaign of his own in 2017 as he clinched the title with Carlin and was unlucky not to be named on the shortlist for the award twelve months ago.

This season he has competed in a number of rounds of the USF2000 series and has been a race winner in selected outings in BRDC British F3.

“The Award wasn’t on my radar,” he said. “I’m more surprised getting in this year than I would have been last year because I’ve had such little seat time. It’s been my hardest season in motorsport.

“I can’t thank the BRDC enough for the support it’s given me this year and this is another lifeline.”

Fewtrell was nominated for the award twelve months ago, when he lost out to fellow British F4 graduate Dan Ticktum.

Max, who also won his title whilst driving for Carlin, leads the Formula Renault Eurocup with two rounds of the season still to run.

“Last year in the Award tests I don’t think I did my best, so I hoped I would get another chance,” he said. “It’s been a good season and I thought I might get another chance in the Award.

“This year I need to prepare a bit better – I took the Award for granted last time.”

The award winner will be named on 2 December.

TEAM NEWS: Hoggard claims third in championship during Brands Hatch finale

02 Oct 18

Provided by Team PR

2 October 2018 – Johnathan Hoggard brought the curtain down on the F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost season with an eighth victory of the year that earned him a place on the end of year podium.

The weekend started strong for the 17- year-old driver from Spalding who was looking to make it his 3rd consecutive double pole around the 2.433 miles Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit. The Fortec squad watched on as Hoggard looked comfortable three tenths faster than the fighting pack until Sebastian Priaulx managed to jump Johnathan by 0.06 seconds with minutes remaining to start from the front row.

Hoggard would still start from pole in the third race with a second fastest lap time of 1.25.955. Lucca Allen was able to make a strong impression by qualifying just behind both Red Bull backed drivers in P11.

Race 1 lights flashed out with both Fortec drivers launching off the line approaching Paddock Hill Bend. Hoggard set his sights on applying pressure to the Arden driver in front while Lucca made an impressive move around the outside of Mexican Alverez at Hawthorns, the fastest corner on the track.

The young Irish driver battled the low sun to maintain a strong pace and finish in the points in eighth place. Johnathan pulled a gap on Paavo Tonteri behind in P3 and tried to reign in the leading car, bringing the gap down to half a second until taking the chequered flag, stepping onto the second step of the podium a whole eight seconds ahead of the trailing double R in third.

The Reverse grid race allowed for an exciting round to unfold as Hoggard made a superb start vaulting two places from fifth to third before the first corner. Sandwiched between two cars on new tyres, the young Brit had to maintain his pace on scrubbed tyres and make no mistakes.

Allen made a strong start and was straight on the pace setting purple’s in the first and third sectors. An entertaining battle followed as Red Bull backed driver Jack Doohan was pushing Lucca hard into the final few laps of the race, crossing the line in tenth. Johnathan withheld the pressure and crossed the line in third, once again scoring valuable points in the championship.

The final race saw Hoggard start pole with all to fight for with just 15 points separating Johnathan and both Red Bull backed drivers for third in the Championship. Hoggard seemed extremely focused on the task in hand and made the perfect start to lead the chasing pack through druids.

Lucca had another exciting battle but this time it was Hauger in the Red Bull livery who ran wide at turn one reentering the track behind his Irish rival. Lucca drove some exceptional defensive lines to keep Hauger at bay until he was forced to retire with a gearbox issue. An unfortunate end to the season for a driver who has showed great potential and constantly improved throughout the season.

Once at the front there was no stopping Hoggard, who led 174 laps this season, a whole 97 laps more than Simmons. This boosted Johnathan to scoring the second highest laps lead in a single season, just behind 2017 Champion Jamie Caroline. Johnathan kept his nerve and took the chequered flag for the eighth time this year, rewarding him with the most wins this season and taking P3 in the Championship.

Fortec Team Manager Ollie Dutton said: “I am so happy for Johnathan clinching P3 in the Championship in the final race. As a driver this year Johnathan has been phenomenal, and his statistics of laps lead and race wins in both wet and dry conditions is very impressive, I look forward to seeing him fighting for the top step of the podium as he steps up to the higher category next year. Lucca has also made me proud, constantly improving and soaking up all knowledge and criticism thrown his way. I’m excited to see how his career unfolds and wish both my boys all the luck in their next endeavors.”

TEAM NEWS: Arden win the British F4 Teams and Rookie Championships

02 Oct 18

Provided by Team PR

2 October 2018 – Arden become the British F4 Team Champions at the season finale at Brands Hatch GP following a double podium for Sebastian Piaulx, as Jack Doohan is crowned the British F4 Rookie Champion.

The Arden quartet of Dennis Hauger, Patrik Pasma, Jack Doohan and Sebastian Priaulx headed into the F4 British Championship finale at Brands Hatch on the 28-30 September.

Qualifying saw Priaulx storm to pole position for Arden, with Pasma setting the 4th fastest time, followed by the Red Bull Juniors Hauger and Doohan in 8th and 9th positions.

This set their positions for Race 1 of the weekend. Whilst when their second-best laps were considered, Priaulx was 2nd quickest, with the other three Arden drivers starting in the same three positions of 4th, 8th and 9th respectively for Race 3.

The first race of the weekend saw Priaulx make a great getaway from pole position, assuming a position out front which he wouldn’t relinquish over the course of the 30-minute race – taking a dominant victory and his first since the opening weekend of the season.
‍
Pasma was involved a race long battle with fellow Finn Paavo Tonteri, as the two duelled it out for 4th position throughout the race, with Pasma crossing the line in 5th position.

Doohan and Hauger were duelling it out in their battle for race and overall Rookie Championship supremacy, with Hauger finishing the first race in 7th position – just one ahead of teammate Doohan as the Rookie title race hotted up.

In the partially reversed-grid second race, Pasma made a great getaway from 3rd on the grid to move himself into 2nd and ahead of Ayrton Simmons into Turn 1. Pasma wasn’t able to trouble leader Jewiss, who got a break at the start of the race – meaning Pasma would focus on defending 2nd position to the end of the race, which he held onto at the finish line.
‍
Priaulx was all over the back of Simmons throughout the race, again demonstrating his impressive pace from Qualifying and Race 1 to threaten for serious points once again as he finished in 6th position.

The Red Bull Juniors once again were at it again fighting for race and Rookie podium honours, with Hauger finishing just behind Priaulx and one position ahead of Doohan who rounded out the Arden quartet in 8th position, taking fastest lap in the process.

The final race of the British F4 Championship saw Priaulx start from 2nd on the grid, trying to pressure leader Hoggard from the beginning but was unable to find a way through. Despite setting the fastest lap of the race and shadowing Hoggard throughout he would just miss out on making it a Brands Hatch GP double – finishing in 2nd position in the season finale.

Pasma enjoyed a battle race long with Simmons for 4th position, after both drivers pounced on an error by newly crowned Champion Kiern Jewiss to move into the battle just off the podium. Pasma finished a solid 5th to round out his impressive form in the second half of the season.

The Rookie Championship was on the line in the final race of the year between the two Arden Red Bull Juniors. Doohan had a small advantage over Hauger heading into the final round, where the Rookie title was decided in his favour early on, after Manuel Sulaima hit Hauger into Paddock Hill bend, damaging his floor significantly, pushing the Norwegian through the gravel and to the back of the field.

Doohan crossed the line in 7th position to seal the Rookie Championship, with Hauger unlucky to finish outside the points after being knocked out of contention.

The result of the three podiums for the team, saw Arden crowned the British F4 Teams Champions for the first time, outscoring Double R Racing by 39 points at the end of the season finale.
‍
In the overall championship, Hauger finished as the lead Arden driver in 4th position overall, just ahead of Doohan in 5th, Pasma 6th and Priaulx rounding out the quartet with 7th overall in the final points classification.
‍
Doohan also received the prestigious Joe Tandy Memorial Trophy, meaning it is the second year in a row that an Arden driver has won the coveted award – following Oscar Piastri claiming the award in 2017.

With the 2018 championship over, attention begins to turn to the 2019 season – where announcements about next years plans and drivers will be made in due course.
